On May 15, the International Society for Fair Elections and Democracy published second interim report of monitoring local self-government elections. The repot covers the period from April 20 through May 11. ISFED is monitoring the elections in all election districts of Georgia by means of 73 long-term observers who were previously trained and prepared for the monitoring.

The International Society for Fair Elections and Democracy (ISFED) held 9 roundtables throughout Georgia in the following municipalities: Tbilisi, Rustavi, Gori, Telavi, Gurjaani, Sagarejo, Kutaisi, Batumi and Ozurgeti, with financial support from the National Endowment for Democracy (NED) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

Nana Devidze - Kakheti Regional Coordinator of “International Society for Fair Elections and Democracy” (ISFED) had a meeting with Public Defender of Georgia. Representatives of other non-governmental organizations also attended the meeting which was organized in Gurjaani, Georgia.

April 24, 2014
On April 24, the International Society for Fair Elections and Democracy (ISFED) released its first interim report of the monitoring of June 15, 2014 local self-government elections of Georgia. ISFED is carrying out the monitoring in all election districts of Georgia by means of 73 long-term observers (LTOs), who have undergone previous adequate preparation and 
training for the monitoring.

On April 1, in the Holiday Inn Hotel, the International Society for Fair Elections and Democracy, Transparency International – Georgia and the Georgian Young Lawyers’ Association held a roundtable for the discussion of new regulations introduced in the Election Code in 2014.

On January 29th, 2014 , “International Society for Fair Elections and Democracy” presented its research -  “Analysis of the Draft Law on Local Self-Governance, International Experience and Recommendations”.

The International Society for Fair Elections and Democracy (ISFED) is publishing the Final Monitoring Report on the Presidential Elections of October 27, 2013.

The International Society for Fair Elections and Democracy urges the Parliament of Georgia to start immediately discussions about issues pertinent to the municipal self-government election system. 
November 1, 2013
ISFED filed 78 complaints with district election commissions (DECs). Majority of the complaints sought imposition of liability on precinct election commission (PEC) members, while 11 sought annulment of summary protocol and revision of results due to gaps and inaccuracies in summary protocols.
